Other metals
Bronze: CuSn6, CuSn8. Bronze corresponds to the alloy of copper with tin. The structure of a copper alloy containing up to 8% tin is characterized by excellent cold formability and a high degree of rigidity.
Copper: Copper offers good corrosion resistance and is used for its properties as thermal and electrical conductors.
Brass: CuZnPb. Brass corresponds to the alloy of copper and zinc (15%). Brass is a robust metal, resistant to corrosion and very easy to machine.
Invar: Invar is an alloy of iron (64%) and nickel (36%) whose main property is to have a very low expansion coefficient. Thanks to this property, it is used to make precision instruments, particularly in watchmaking, also for the manufacture of laboratory measuring devices or for the production of molds in aeronautics.
